I'm thrilled to share my journey with you. After years of honing my skills working as an architect and later as a freelancer, I took a leap of faith to turn my passion for creating natural skincare products into a thriving business.

My adventure began with a heartfelt desire to surprise my mother-in-law for her milestone 60th birthday. I created a beautiful bouquet of handmade soaps, body butters, lip balms, and scrubs, crafted in my kitchen. That special gift sparked a passion in me that has only grown since. Encouraged by the support of family and friends, I proudly launched Shikleli Bāyko in the United States in 2009. The name "Shikleli Bāyko" means “An Educated Wife” in Marathi, reflecting my identity as a passionate, educated woman driven to succeed as an entrepreneur while embracing my roles as a supportive wife, caring daughter and daughter-in-law, and loving mother to two wonderful boys.

 

In 2014, with an encouraging spur from my brother, Kshitij and his wife, Meenal, and their active partifipation, Shikleli Bāyko transformed into a vibrant product brand, offering a unique bouquet of products to uplift your senses.
